Overview: Enabling a leading manufacturer of home appliances to manage their sales accounting process for their services business contributing 80% to their annual revenue.
Challenges: A leading domestic manufacturer of home appliances had been using a global ERP for sales accounting and invoicing. However, the ERP did not have a mobile version and needed a separate channel to manage mobile-based sales in compliance with GST. The capabilities required were the generation of GST compliant invoice real-time email facility, access to reports & analytics for their customer engagement and integration of the final output with the head office ERP.
IDOS Solution: IDOS sales and customer accounting modules were customised to meet customer preferences. This was successfully carried out by building a bridge between the company's ERP, the sales team and the end customers.
Results: Customers could conveniently raise service requests on the mobile app. The service personnel could track and promptly reach the customer location, provide the service, update details about the usage of spares in the central inventory database, generate GST compliant invoices and email the e-invoice to the customer in a seamless manner.
